Matthew McCart, DC

Dr. Matthew P. McCart grew up in South Central Iowa and graduated from Wayne Community High School.  After high school he attended and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Iowa, where he majored in Biology with an emphasis in Neurobiology.  Three months after graduation Dr. McCart began his journey at Palmer College of Chiropractic.

While at Palmer, Dr. McCart worked as a teaching assistant for the Diagnosis and Radiology Department, specifically Obstetrics/Pediatrics and Radiology classes.  He also participated in the clinic abroad program, traveling to Manaus, Brazil to provide chiropractic care to hundreds of underserved people.  Dr. McCart was given the opportunity to complete his clinical education under the supervision of Drs. John and Trisha Barakat.

Dr. McCart completed his certification with the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture in 2017, and continues to enhance his chiropractic skills and knowledge through yearly continuing education.
